Live Streaming Alaves vs Real Madrid

Real Madrid will play away against Deportivo Alaves in Week 1 of La Liga 2021/22, Sunday (15/8/2021). Los Blancos aim for the best start at Mendizorrotza.

Last season, Real Madrid failed to defend its title. They finished behind city rivals Atletico Madrid by two points. Some renovations have also been made.

Coach position changed. Real Madrid parted ways with Zinedine Zidane, and reappointed Carlo Ancelotti. Real Madrid also parted ways with central defender and captain Sergio Ramos, who later joined PSG, and signed David Alaba from Bayern Munich on a free.

After Ramos left, another central defender was also missing. Raphael Varane has agreed to be released to Manchester United, but so far his transfer has not been formalized.

Real Madrid's pre-season itself is actually less convincing. After a 3-1 win over Fuenlabrada, they drew 1-1 with Rayo Vallecano, lost 1-2 to Rangers, and lastly played in a goalless draw with AC Milan.

Real Madrid may be lucky because their first opponent will be a team that last season finished just four points above the red zone. On paper, this first match should not be too difficult for them.
