Following a 2-1 win in the first leg in Turkey, now it's AS Roma's turn to host Trabzonspor at the Stadio Olimpico for the second leg of the European Conference League playoffs on Friday (20/8/2021) at 00.30 WIB.


Hosts AS Roma head into this match with a 3-1 win over Fiorentina. While the visitors Trabzonspor beat Sivasspor 2-1 in the Turkish Super Lig.


AS Roma took a significant step in their hunt for a place in the UEFA European Conference League for the first time when they claimed a 2-1 win over Trabzonspor in the first leg of the last qualifying round last Tuesday.


That win was followed by an impressive 3-1 win over Fiorentina in their Serie A opener last time out.


Jose Mourinho's men have now won three of their last three matches in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and conceding two.


Meanwhile, Trabzonspor returned to the Turkish Super League where they claimed a 2-1 win over Sivasspor.


Trabzonspor themselves are unbeaten in 19 of their last 20 matches in all competitions with the first leg defeat against AS Roma being the only exception.


They are top with the Turkish Super League after picking up wins from their opening two matches.

Leonardo Spinazzola has been ruled out with a long-term injury. Chris Smalling is also a doubt after picking up an injury in training.


Tammy Abraham appeared in front of the Roma fans on his debut at the weekend and the former Chelsea man is expected to feature in this clash.
