PSG will play away against Brest in week 3 of the French Ligue 1 2021/22, Saturday (21/8/2021). The public is still waiting for Lionel Messi's debut with the Les Parisiens uniform.
In the first week, PSG tamed host Troyes 2-1 through goals from new wing-back Achraf Hakimi and striker Mauro Icardi. After that, PSG beat visitors Strasbourg 4-2 in the second week through goals from Icardi, Julian Draxler and Pablo Sarabia, as well as an opposing player's suicide.
The victory over Strasbourg at the Parc des Princes began with the introduction of new PSG players. They are Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Georginio Wijnaldum and Hakimi.
Against Brest later, Messi reportedly still will not appear. The Argentine star is believed to be making his PSG debut when he plays away to Reims the following week.
