Liverpool will host Chelsea in Week 3 of the Premier League or Premier League 2021/22, Saturday (28/8/2021). A fierce duel will be presented at Anfield.
These two teams have both started the season amazingly. They both won the first two games, both scored a total of five goals, and both have not conceded. In essence, they both have great offensive and defensive power.
In the first week, Liverpool won at home to promoted Norwich City 3-0 through goals from Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, and Mohamed Salah. Meanwhile, Chelsea won against Crystal Palace as well with a 3-0 score through goals from Marcos Alonso, Christian Pulisic, and Trevoh Chalobah.
In the second week, Liverpool beat Burnley 2-0 at Anfield through goals from Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane. Meanwhile, Chelsea won at home to Arsenal also with a score of 2-0 through goals from Romelu Lukaku and Reece James.
Lukaku made his second Chelsea debut against Arsenal, and the Belgian striker scored straight away to help his side take all the points. He seems to be compatible with the Blues. The next test is no less severe, namely away against Liverpool.
Chelsea's attack line, which is inhabited by players such as Lukaku, Mason Mount, and Kai Havertz, will compete with Liverpool's defense lined by formidable defender Virgil van Dijk. On the other hand, Chelsea's rearguard also has to deal with the attacking trio of the Reds, who earlier this season have proven that they are still alive and well.
