Former Manchester United player Dimitar Berbatov gave his predictions about the Arsenal vs Chelsea duel this weekend. He thinks the Blues can win in this match.
Arsenal will host Chelsea in the second match of the Premier League season 2021/2022. This duel will be held at the Emirates, Sunday (22/8/2021) night WIB.
In the first week, Arsenal won a bad result. Mikel Arteta's men lost 0-2 at home to promoted Brentford.
On the other hand, Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea concoction successfully passed its first test with satisfactory results. The Blues won 3-0 at home to Crystal Palace.
Champion Chelsea
Arsenal are certainly determined to get up against Chelsea. However, Berbatov favored the Blues to win the North London Derby.
"It was a great game. I would say Arsenal will have a bad start to the season," Berbatov told Metro.
Lukaku's debut
Chelsea have signed Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan. According to Berbatov, Lukaku can make his debut in this match.
"Lukaku could make his first appearance since rejoining Chelsea and I think he will be excited to show what he can do."
Lukaku Scores
Berbatov also predicts that Lukaku will be able to score against Arsenal.
"If Arsenal don't fix the weakness in their defence, which has been the case for many years, they will be easily humiliated and Lukaku will lash out."
Berbatov himself predicts this match will end with a score of 3-0 for Chelsea's victory.
