Defending Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich will continue their positive trend after winning the German Super Cup. After the draw against Gladbach last week, Julian Nagelsmann's men will try to get up when they host FC Koln in the second week of the Bundesliga.
Julian Nagelsmann had struggled in the first four games of Bayern Munich's pre-season, including their defeat against FC Cologne. But all these defeats paid off after they managed to beat Dortmund in the German Super Cup with a score of 3-1.
However, unlike Bayern in the first week of the Bundesliga, FC Koln managed to win the match against Hertha Berlin. Anthony Modeste and his friends managed to bury the capital club with a landslide score of 3-1.
Having the capital ever to beat the host with a score of 3-2 will be enough to give mentality to Stefan Baumgart's team. In addition, they also managed to get out of pressure after beating Hertha Berlin after falling behind first.
